Announcement of Finalists for the GAYATAMA 5 2026 News Anchor Competition
fisipol.unesa.ac.id, Surabaya — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIPOL) at Surabaya State University (UNESA) contributed to the organization of the 5th GAYATAMA International Competition through its Communication Studies Program, which facilitated one of the competition categories: the News Anchor Competition.
The participation of the FISIPOL UNESA Communication Studies Program in this event is one way the faculty supports students by providing a platform to develop their competencies in the field of communication, particularly in broadcasting and journalism. Through the News Anchor Competition, participants are given the opportunity to demonstrate their ability to convey information in an informative, communicative, and professional manner.
This competition is open to students from various universities, making GAYATAMA 5 a platform that brings together students from diverse backgrounds in an international-level competition.
After the submission screening phase, 21 participants were selected to advance to the next stage of the GAYATAMA 5 News Anchor Competition.
